About me
I'm Umair Attique, founder of Maths Club and a fully qualified Secondary Mathematics Teacher with seven years of classroom experience across Irish, UK and international curricula. I hold UK Qualified Teacher Status and teach Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate Higher Level Mathematics. I believe quality instruction — not quantity — is what transforms a student's relationship with mathematics.
Qualifications & Expertise
• Master of Mathematics (MMath), Loughborough University — a strong foundation in pure mathematics through to master's-level study in mechanics and statistics.
• PGCE, Loughborough University — UK Qualified Teacher Status with induction completed; grounded teaching methodology and classroom practice.
• MBA in Finance, University of Leicester — real-world application of financial and mathematical concepts, integrated directly into every session.
Our Teaching Philosophy
At Maths Club, understanding comes before memorisation. Every session is built around breaking complex problems into clear, manageable steps — giving students the problem-solving skills they need to perform on exam day and beyond.
